Mary Brown is a Tsalagi educator living in NYC. She holds a Master of Arts degree in History from The City College of New York, and a Master of Arts in Education from Relay Graduate School. She currently teaches for the NYC Department of Education at Dreamyard Preparatory High School and serves as the head of the History department there. Her aim is to decolonize and indigenize education to better serve the youth of Turtle Island. Mary is a citizen of Cherokee Nation.
