Taylor has been acting since he was 13 years old. His first sit down reading was at a Boys & Girls home in the mid-west, the title was The Princess & The Frog. He came to New York City when he was 18 and he wanted to dance, sing and to be an actor. Not knowing anybody and with no money, Taylor knew he had a choice of either getting a full time job or be homeless. He went to work at the American Indian Community House and took all the free acting classes he could get. Then he landed at the time, in 2006, what he considered his dream job working at the Loews Theater. He worked there for 3 years. He got to see a lot of movie stars that came to the Loews for premiers and he got to shake hands or say hello to some of the screen’s biggest stars. Virginia Madsen, Oscar-nominated actress for the movie Sideways, inspired him to go forward with his dreams. She suggested to him that he do some background work to see how movies are made and to see if he would like it. He registered with Casting Networks and took all types of jobs as a non union extra. “I finally found a job I loved even if I had to get up at five in the morning and freeze in cold weather for 3 days in a row. I learned three things: dress warmly, I had to get waivers to join the Screen Actors Guild, and I would get paid MORE for freezing if I was in the union.” With a lot of nonunion work under his belt, he was still unable to join SAG. He got a roommate to share his apartment in Brooklyn and he called his tribe to help him foot the bill for his SAG card. In 3 months he had enough money to join. Since joining the union three years ago, he’s done all kinds of background work (recently The Good Wife , Royal Pains, 30 Rock, Fringe ) done stunt work, been a stand in and a body double for some of today’s leading actors (Mercy, The Other Guys, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Salt, The Back Up Plan...and this is only  few!).  He continues taking classes and working as much as he can. “I want to do so much more in this field...I love acting.”
